This is not a complaint, but I am curious as to when the little envelope that signifies when a post becomes hot etc changes color. What are the triggers for the color changes? Seems to me that there is a variation when this happens.

 

150 views or more, or 15 posts or more in a thread will change the icon to a hot thread.
