Picture Approvals

Do we have to get every picture we upload approved by an admin?

How long does it take for the approval process?

you can use an attachment that doesn't have to wait for the approval process

Yes, that's the way the software is setup.

Usually not very long as most of the Admins check for new photos a couple of times a day. Your's are approved now.

bnold is correct and is usually the best way if you don't want a photo to go into your Member Photo section to stay.

It has to be hosted on another site, and you have to put [IMG] brackets on either side of the hyperlink.

That all depends on how the camera was setup (picture settings, mega pixels, etc), to file type (jpeg/jpg, bmp), and the pictures' data size and physical pixel size.

That also depends on the picture in your gallery too. For example I have some pictures that are 1024 X 768 pixel (large pictures) loaded into my gallery. If I want to use that picture in a thread I use the IMG tags provided at the bottom of the screen. Heres the trick: When I am browsing through my gallery and find the picture I will click on it. This will bring up the picture on its own page in a scaled down half size, you will even see it in the IMG tag that it it will have MED in the code indicating that only the scaled version should be shown. If you click the picture again, you will see the image in its full size, use the IMG code give there and the full size will be displayed in a thread.
