Anyone else have the site "freeze" when clicking on links within others' posts? It doesn't happen all the time, but real early is usually the culprit.
I haven't seen that at all with either firefox or IE.
What browser are you using? Do you have a third party popup blocker? Have you tried to clear your cookies and empty your cache? Also, it would be good to know which anti-virus software you're using as this may also cause a problem.

Using IE, all cookies cleared and cache emptied, AVG free antivirus.
The last time was clicking the third thumbnail in the first post of "Nice Dually Rear Bumper" in 3rd Gen - Non-Drivetrain.
This all began happening about three days ago. I don't recall it ever before that. I haven't added any new software in that time frame as well.

I'm all about trying new things
, but my laptop came with IE.
It did it again clicking on the first thumbnail on post #5 in that same thread - had to Control/Alt/Delete to end task on this site and re-open the DTR to continue.

Thats ok, you don't have to get rid of it just download and use firefox, it's much more stable than IE. Go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/
Yes there is, Its fairly easy:
1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.
Enjoy
