I just looked and we're currently at 26,261 members on the rolls.

I just did a search and in November of 2002 we had a contest on who could guess when the 3,000th member signed up.

I guess we're doing something right.........

Thanks to the membership for helping us keep this site growing and clean.

 

Some 23,000 in 4 years. Id say thats a pretty good growth rate.

Back when I signed up we had member numbers next to our names. I was #4500.

Thanks guys, it's very much appreciated. We have grown a lot over the years. The new server does quite well for the amount of traffic we receive. We're getting more than 1200 posts a day now compared to just a couple of years ago where we were getting maybe 300-400. Thanks to everyone for your knowledge, fellowship and understanding as we grow and try to keep the place nice and clean for not just us, but our families as well. Although some may not be happy with our approach, you can bet your bottom dollar that we will continue to provide a place where you can surf and learn without having to worry about whether or not your children are sitting beside you or standing over your shoulder.

Thanks for providing this site! I am pretty well addicted and come on just about everyday. Learning new stuff all the time. I can't even come close to reading and keeping with all 1200 posts everyday.

My question is this......just out of curiosity....

Of the 26,000 some odd members...........how many are active? Do you have a way of telling roughly how many have posted on a thread in the past month?
