I don't like the Facebook link. It loads weird, being a large rectangle then resizing to a smaller button. That and I hate Facebook.

Some, if not many of us are still on Dial up, at no choice of our own. This facebook thing just slows us down even more. They have done this nonsense on two other forums I am on, also a slow down while somehting is done with facebook. Is there any way to opt out of the face book thing ?

Nope. It's there. The only thing you can do is choose not to ever click on the button. It's the future, boys. Hate to tell ya, but that's the way it is... A lot of users prefer to share some of the stories here on their facebook pages, which in turn brings more users. I think it's been explained pretty well by folks other than I.

I understand the why's, but now it is causing me issues at work. When i have a free minute at work I like to catch up on the happening. Facebook is forbidden by our fire wall so evey time I go to a post, it put up our block page inside the box. This in turn goes to big brother at work. So basicly now I have to stop using the site at work. Is there another solution so it isn't a live feed to facebook? If not I understand but I'm sure I'm not the only one.

If you got paid per click... and people actually clicked it... you may be onto something. I think i've been on facebook 6 or 7 years and i only "like" 49 things. HAH
