I don't know what you are talking about, if it was a pop up window we don't have those here. Most likely you have a virus of some kind, do a virus scan and use the free superantispyware to get rid of any spyware as well.

cummins question

my son who by the way builds puters for a living ran a virus scan about 4:00 nothing showing on my puter. wasnt a pop up i ask the question of cummins techs it showed my question and doctor with doctor credentials wanted me to pay him to answer a question about a cummins diesel. knew something was wrong but the **** page wouldnt let me exit. no need to get upset. it just a observation and question.

You got a link to where you went?
What exactly is the "Cummins Question Header"? Never heard of it and I've been on here for a few years.

Run the spyware thing I told you about, you probably picked up something somewhere down the line. Lots of really shady characters out there having nothing better to do than mess with your PC

I use multiple layers of protection here, virus scans, spyware scans, firewalls etc......

Yep.. you have a virus or malware on your computer. We don't do any of that stuff here.

I'm running Spybot on his machine now. Malware bytes opens, but then closes itself right after I click to scan. I dropped TeaTimer on it a few weeks ago to try to stop some of this crap from getting in. It's supposed to pop a notification if a program wants to modify system settings.
