Classified ad term is how long/short...........

I had listed a truck for sale around the 26th of November, I viewed it 6 weeks later, so I thought it must be a 90 day thing. Now the ad is gone. How long is a classified ad 'good' for? Is it possible to renew? If renewal is possible, how is it done?

When you place an ad,,,,, there is a window with a drop-down list of the number of days you want the ad to run.
How long do you want your ad to run? ,,,,, then the drop-down box which I believe is defaulted to 15 days. It also has a 30 day,,, 60 day,,,, and 90 day option.

After your ad has run the selected amount of days,,,,, you must resubmit the ad. There is no renew option that I know of.

Hope this helps.

In your case however you are NOT allowed to post vehicles for sale in our classifieds since you are a car dealer. Our classifieds are for member use only, not as a place of business for Vendors and Dealers.

His profile states he buys and sells cars. I see this alot in the classifieds, you would not believe the number of Vendors who try to make a living off our free classifieds.

I'm not a dealer 'per se', I do not have a Dealers license. I buy for & sell to dealers on a wholesale only basis from one dealer to another dealer. I have my own CTD's that are registered to me or my sons, that are our daily drivers, that I sell from me or them, the individual. The state allows 4 sales per individual per year. I wasn't trying to deceive anyone or I wouldn't have listed it in my profile as occupation; Ad removed site violation I've seen some really good deals on here, that folks here have found on there own. The truck that I had listed, is my personal truck that has been registered to me for the last 6 mos. I've been in the car biz for 35 years, I started as a mechanic. Contrary to popular opinion, not all car sales people lie. I stand behind, to the side, in front of or on top of anything that I say about a vehicle that is mine, wholesale or retail. A spade is a spade.

So by your own admission you are selling vehicles illegally without a license and not paying the appropriate taxes, license fees...ETC. This by the sheer definition of selling for profit makes you a vendor and thus not allowed to sell in our classifieds.

State laws on the number of sales do not apply here. We do NOT allow our classifieds to be used by anyone who buys and sells for profit, even if it is only a handful of trucks a year.

I never said you were trying to deceive anyone, however by your own account (as proof in the ad that had to be removed from this post) you are clearly selling vehicles for profit, which makes you ineligible to use our classifieds.

(Ad removed site advertising violation)

I am not trying to belittle you in any way or call you a liar, my only concern is to enforce the rules we have set forth for this website. If you sell vehicles on even a semi regular basis, you do not qualify to use our classifieds to sell those vehicles.
