He got banned for what I think is not a very good reason and is kind of immature, but hey rules are rules. Right?

 

not to stir up anything, but would the mod responsible for 973604x4's banning explain what he did wrong. i hope he didnt get it because of pm'ing me since he has alot of information to share and is doing a good job trying to unite diesel enthusiests in the byran/college station area and i always thought was an asset to the site. if i was the reason i would take one of the warning if you would re-instate him

He got banned because he decided the way to work through an issue was to insult me, rather discuss the issue like an adult. No one at fault but himself.

 

Maybe he was trying to work through it the right way and you took it the wrong way. Maybe you took a comment too seriously and got a little too excited.

That's a sad deal.... I thought it was cool what he was doing at the college.

 

We will keep doing it wether he is on here or not.

 

I provide this site free for him to enjoy, I will not take insults from someone who was simply WARNED for breaking a rule. A warning is just what the word implies, it is a reminder to pay attention to what you are doing, NOT an excuse to become abusive to me or any other Admin on this site.

The simple fact is he has violated the rules repeatedly and I still decided to only give him a warning rather than a violation. He took that as a reason to insult me rather than discuss the issue as an adult.

End of story.

 

Just post according to the rules, and you will have nothing to worry about. This one is done.
