here are the Smoke switch how to with pics

here is the smoke switch for all you guys that want to know how. I take no responceability for any one that dose it wrong or has a prob with it. you take the C and D wires on your box ( marked on the plug for the MAP sensor) and splice into them and run a switch into the cab that conects the wires together to turn it on and off. It tells the computer that it is at full boost even at low or no boost and lets it over fuel till boost comes up. It can only be turned on with the motor running or it will set a code. it only works for short burst ( dont turn it on and drive to town) and has to have a module that dose boost fooling to work or it will set an over boost code This is with a EDGE EZ. Please try to be a little mature with this, it is just for fun so dont go making all the new trucks look like we need stricter emissions laws.

Have fun. Chad

The wires you tap are the ones on the box harness that plugs into the sensor ( Edge is red and tan) not the one on the factory one on the truck or on the box that goes to the factory plug. Factory plug on 07 is red-yellow marker and light blue. This sould not be done to a stock truck, it will set a code.

I know I am going to take some heat over this, great instructions but this has to be the most rediculous mods I have ever heard of. People take enough flak over trucks that smoke on their own let alone making them smoke.

It is all in good fun at events and such....or when the occasional ricer bump-bumps their boom boom music too loud. Hence the warning on my license plate.... "Got Soot" which I got from PapaSmurf's bumper sticker.

I try telling people about this all the time and they look at me funny. Looks like the boys in Jonesboro got it figured out pretty good. Previously this had only been done with Quadzilla boxes. I don't have a smoke switch mounted anywhere, but my right foot works just fine.

1stgen545....be on the lookout for me this fall. I may just stop in to talk trucks. I passed through Jonesboro last weekend...i'm sure i'll be able to find ya. Not much to see in ol Jonesboro

979304x4 Stop buy any time the white second gen is home im on fm217.

kantdrive55. You are 100% right. I have just seen lots of people crossing the wrong wires and having rouble. I dont like guys that just try to make us look bad but they will do it any way so I tought I would just keep them from messing up there trucks ( even tough some may desurve it) This is just for fun from time to time not to do all the time but Im sure some will mess it up for the rest of us. I did this for my brother in law becose he heard about it and would not leave me alone about it. Im with you all the way and hope people can be a little mature about this. I usualy won't help people be a @#$ but lots of 3rd gen guys were asking about this so I tought I would help. Thats what this site is for right? I dont aprove of doing it all the time or going around town trying to choke every little car you can find.

It should work with Attitude but dont know about the MP-8

You should all know there is NO NO NO power to be had from this just some smoke. I didn't dream this up I just showed how to do it. Tons of power usualy = lots of smoke ( sled pull smoking tractor ) Tons of smoke dose not always = lots of power ( CTD with trash bag around the air filter)
