rear lowering shackles, 94~06

air bag store

800-682-8789 Shackles lower your vehicle by 2" by installing at the rear of your rear Leaf spring. Some kits also require the installation of a Leaf spring hanger.

looks adjustable, has 3 holes to choose.

Did you order a set?

Let me know how they work out. I have been looking for something like that.

Any of you guys use these things? I want to lower the back of my truck. I was gonna pull the lift blocks and cut them down about 2 inches, but I cant find shorter U-bolts.

Yes, I've used them, just be sure your shocks have enough travel to work with the drop. I had them on my F250 I sold to get the Dodge. My Ford was a 2WD though. It looked great with the tail dropped to level it out.

Has anyone tried these things on their Dodge yet? I know a few people have cut the blocks. I even have a shop that will do it and get me some shorter U-bolts but they want a lot of $$$!

Why not just buy a threading die and cut threads further up?

First, most u-bolt threads are rolled and not cut, 2nd, it is way too cheap to just buy new u-bolts. They run $20 for a set of 4 at any length you want in the 1/2" - 9/16" flavour at my local spring shop.

Is the American dollar strong on the canadian dollar again? Im kidding, but my shop down the road wants about $100 to cut my blocks and 4 new U bolts. Of course, this is also the shop that charged me $1100 to replace the engine oil cooler gasket, and replaced my alternator without telling me or asking me.....

Sounds to me like that would have been a warning never to darken their doorstep again. Find a spring shop in the yellow pages , Call them up , tell them what size u bolts you need , and go from there.
