Thumbs up Just bought an ATV today

I just bought an ATV today. It's a 1987 Honda 250 2-whell drive. It has a 5-speed with reverse. The plastics are ok. It runs great and does not smoke at all.

I hope I got a good deal... $500.00.

What do you all think?

I have been in the market for one for about a year or so. But ATV's hold their value, and I could not find one for under $1,000.00.

If this thing turns out to be a dud, which I don't think it will, it's not that much money. Maybe I'll go for a nicer one in a few years. But this will do until then.

Drive it like ya stole it!!! Great deal, watch out for head gasket leaks. Those years were bad for that.

They are great. You will soon be saving money for something larger than a 250 to play with

Those years are some of the most reliable quads built and def since its a red one? Dad has a 2 atc's 85 and 86 that have both seen there rough years and still start on sec or third kick in cold weather with no rebuilds.

I think they will be going on my Rhino when I get it....unless they don't fit...then I'll consider it. Might just have to buy a brand new set. Turbo, 4-wheeler, turbo ,four-wheeler, what do I do?!
