Driver Training-need help/advice

Need some advice on training, schools, experience and CDLS

Requirements: Drive a dually with a 52ft trailer attached OTR delivering various merchandise. The owner wants a CDL, which I do not have yet.

I need experience and quickly without it hopefully costing an arm and a leg and without having to quit my day job. Could work mornings and weekends.

This is a very good opportunity but I also have 3 kids, an ex-wife and a girlfriend to feed.

Thanks in advance for any pearls of wisdom.

DG

Well for starters , where are you located ? Is this the only truck this owner will have . Are you and he aware of all driver requirements ( work history inquiries , drug testing - prehire and random pool , DOT physical , MVR , etc.) ? Does the truck have all the required equipment - traingles , fire extinguisher ? Don't go out there poorly equipped .
