It is on I pulled a winner last week, still waiting to hear from him before announcing it. I think I know what his user name is, but not certain, I don't want to hurt anyones feelings by saying the wrong thing.

Congratulations to Mike DeHond (Hondo) for being the latest lucky winner of the free Quadzilla Monster Air Intake System!
Thanks Mike for supporting us in the past, we are happy to see you win this really cool intake system.
Don't forget people! 2 more free systems yet to be awarded, if your name isn't on the list, it isn't too late to change that shortcoming

Yehaa!! I am psyched! This is my first performance mod. I am sure that it is a conspiracy to get the BOMBing Bug bite. Well no better way to get bit than for free! Guess I'll have to decide which Quad Box to buy now. I have been humming and hawing and spending money on hunting season and my upcoming Illinois trip. Now it is time to spend some more on the ride
I am all today, just found out I have the rest of this week off to hunt and I leave Thursday and then I find out I WON!
Happy Hunting

Fyi..........
I found out today that my 2nd Gen air box will be here in about two weeks. Quad is now building them in-house and it will be a couple of weeks before they are ready to ship.
I'll post a thread on what improvments it makes after I have had it on for a few days.

The Gen2 airboxes are being powdercoated now. We used to have someone local make them, and now we make them 100% in house so it took a little while to tool everything up.
Hopefully you will only have a very short wait.

Hi all, I won the first one and it is installed my a 2004.5, The photo is in my gallery if you want to see how it is mounted and looks installed. It uses the Green filter and easily replaces the stock air box with no modifiications other than re mounting the mass air sensor on the box, screws supplied. 15 minute job if you have to hunt tools.
Remember mine is a 3rd generation, not a 2nd. Maybe they are using a different filter now? Or maybe only on the 2nd generations?
Good luck to all........Don

I received mine while I was away in Illinois. I got it installed the morning after I got back.
One question though my filter is definitely NOT green it is grey. Is there a difference? Hate to look a gift horse in the mouth, just curious.
Also I am assuming that these filters come pre oiled? I hope that I am right.

2nd Gen airboxes shipped today! Sorry for the wait.
The Grey filters are still the Green filter with a clear oil. This is something new that Green is doing and they were backordered on the actual Green colored one. The filter is actually white, but the screen mesh is black and makes it appear grey. The cool thing is that you can buy several different colors of oil to make it match your color scheme if you want.
The airboxes currently shipping today are going out Green! We are now out of the white ones!
