And,,,,,,,,,, I think the original intent of this thread to start with,,, was not to put down the TDR, but rather to celebrate the fact of how this site has grown. I've been on this site almost from the beginning,,,,, Back when we only had less than 120 members. At that time, we never dreamed that this site would grow the way it has.
I see no reason to turn this into some kind of competition. Both sites are great resources for the diesel truck owners.

I'm sure Lary will readily admit, TDR is a fine site, based on it's knowledge base and longevity. No one is debating that. All anyone has to explain to me is which one is still FREE.
Oh, alrighty the, THIS is where I'm most interested in then!
If this was meant to be a forum bashing thread there is one in particular that is having a REAL rough time of it lately, isn't a that right Dr. Evil?

P.J.:
Good points, thanks for your input! And, I am beginning to believe that your evaluation of the "forum bashing" issue may be right on too!

when I do tread over there to see what I can see, I consistantly notice that there are 30 % more people on our site at the same time as their site, I love this site 'cause I am free to send money when I can, not forced to do so. not that hard to find the donate button if ya try.....

For once, I will decline to comment...
BTW, Phil, I seen your comments elsewhere on the net - thank you. I appreciate them.

Dan, tru, very tru, but when I posted, I checked again, and there were 1800 + on this site, and only 1200 + on their site, even if there are some leaving this site up all day long, more chose to leave this site up, it all works out, not like its ratings week around the net........ just a normal day sampling.
