Jack, that vBulletin software is good stuff. I hang out on another forum for my other truck and they run vBulletin. Very good software in my opinion. All of us here will like it. Kepp up the good work Jack, and to all the admin here.

Kinda like PBS and their annual fund drive eh?

Yeah, but the DTR isn't leeching off the American taxpayer, so I don't mind helping out. PBS gets too much of my money already.

Re:Christmas donations for a much needed new server

I have really enjoyed this site,it has been so helpfull and I have personaly seen it save alot of people some hard earned cash, who can complain about that?? I will help, and hope all others do too. So I have a question, would it be out of line if the DTR sent every member a email explaining the need,I would not think that would be out of line,as not all of the members use it as much as some and they might not have the info for the need.If many hands make light work maybe this will fly real fast and get a new server up faster for the benefit of all who do use this site. Goodkluck Rick I really appreciate the fact that this is a clean site as so many are chock full of foul languageporn and the unbiased opinions of the other brands do not get bashed and made to resent looking here and talking about thier truck as compared to the cummins. Thanks agian for a clean place. Rick

Re:Christmas donations for a much needed new server

I will be sending my money in on Monday guys. My decision to go back to school doesnt leave much extra for my wife and I but I will certainly send what I can.

I would like to take a minute and express my admiration for Jack and the moderators of this site. Many people do not realize the expense of the software and equipment needed to run a site of this size. Previously I was one of the admins for a worldwide legal firm and know very well how expensive this can be not only for equipment and software but also the bandwith it takes to keep a site like this running smoothly. Thanks again Jack for such a great site!!

Keith

I too agree that everyone who has a hand in running this site is doing a fantastic job. A big hand also to the members with their expert advice, opinions and humor. No kidding! (pun intended) This site has given me a lot of pleasure and answered my many technical questions It is very much appreciated that this site is run cleanly and that I can show any of my family or friends anything here without being embarrassed. Other sites I have looked at do not appear to have any restrictions on bad language, abuse of members or brand bashing. Please keep up the good work. Looking forward to soon seeing the new server and software in place.
My cheque will be heading north next week. ( I never mail anything from here and look for folks heading north to mail it in the US)

Good job folks, keep the checks coming. Like I said before, no matter how small the donation, every penny helps so give what you can spare so Jack can keep growing the site and thanks.

How about a paypal link. It would make things a bit easier and hopefully bring in more donations.
