89-90, which high pressure line is on top?
89-90, which high pressure line is on top?
I numbered the 6 high pressure lines prior to removing, but did not note which one was on top
going over the head between valve cover 2 and 3.
Also between valve covers 4and 5?
That would be high pressure lines 2,3,4,and 5.
The reason for all of this is that I have been running 100% biodiesel for the last 12 years
and all of a sudden my engine is running rough and smoking.
First took out the injectors and checked the spray pattern and pop pressure which was fine.
Next removed the injection pump, but had trouble with the fuel supply line going to the top of the injection pump
and the high pressure line number 5 leaving the pump.
The two connections were like they were welded together
Had one hell of a time for a couple days.
Could only work from 6:15 to 7:30 AM each day because of the sun blinding me and the heat.
