Good morning from ..................... you know where. Hot drinks ready for you to start your day. More fresh, empanadas awaiting your eating pleasure. This time only tuna.

Looks like another nice dawning. Forecast says warmer than yesterday. Seems like our rainy season is about over and we already missing the rain. The cars sitting in the driveway get really dusty just sitting there.

Time to relax a bit after a hard nights sleep.

I want to be there one day. I mean, that's what I want to do now, but it's not happening for another 12~ years...

Evening/morning... Had a long day off. Had to take one of my boys to the ER, he was having stomach issues. Nothing serious, but we can't chance it here, medical care isn't readily available, neither is transportation. Dropped him off, came back and picked up my broken SSgt and took him to the airport to send him back to the states, then picked my sick little Marine up. Nothing like 7 hours worth of driving on your day off and in Japan, too... everything's on the wrong side... steering wheel, blinkers, wind shield wipers...

This is a beautiful place here (okinawa). It's an island, and it gets into decent elevation pretty quickly from the beach. I'm about a 1/4 mile from the shore, and I'm already at 200 feet. You can see the beach from my barracks, it's really nice.

I'm about to hit the rack, hopefully everyone has a great Saturday.

 

Morning all - - - gorgeous dawn today in the mountains - - cool, warm sun, gorgeous colors. I am at the gym and on their computer, so limited availability. Just had a good hour workout after our drive in the hills to see the changes. Heading back home Monday so probably will not be back on until Wednesday.

Love it - - sure interesting news this morning about the huge drop in Hillary's campaign. I have to get the satellite hooked up and honed in up here. All I can get on antenna is 4 stations and they are all NPR stuff - - amazing how that works - - they are totally sold out to the Dem agenda. You never hear ALL the news on them - - only all the twisted nasty stuff about Trump. They hardly mentioned the 10 point swing in the polls this morning. HA HA. Hallelujah.

OK, grabbing my Ph00 and one of those whatever they are thingies and I am on heading to the tree house. Got a bit more work to do before I leave after they put in the new AC/humidity control machines. Still a couple holes where they pulled stuff from the basement into second floor. Had crickets up in the third floor this morning running up the duct work from the basement. Weird looking crickets here.

OK, gone.

 

Busy week. I had so little to do I didn't get anything done. The cold spell finally broke. Unfortunately we are going into that hated daytime rain then freeze overnight cycle.

 

Siding is up. Everything put away. Time for grub!

 

My daughter competed in karate again today.
Took first in her solo kata over 17 others.
Took second in team kata.

 

Scotty....Nice to know when she sticks your old carcass in a home, she can kick their butt if they mistreat you

 

You and I both know how a 'home' will work out.
