Call and order those ones from Genos. Cheap enough to get a spare pair, and you'll feel better about it. I've come to find out that genos carries some things, not a lot, but they seem to carry quality parts. They are the only ones that carry those bushings, as I've looked thru most of the vendors sites in search of 1st Gen parts. Genos would have carried the brass ones, I feel, if it were good for the customers. Seems like they always are concerned about their customers input. Got an email from them asking customers to critique their new web changes and are ready to make changes. Who else does that?

I have seen nyliners that are in perfect condition after 30 years of service. bot the shaft was worn some.

You are probably spot on with that. I shall call them today and get them ordered. Thanks.

That's better than, I'd say just about all the brass constant wear parts I've seen hold up. Thank you. I guess y'all just changed my mind.

Finally had time to pick up my linkage parts today, cummins p/n's and price from independent truck shop. They are proud of the throttle lever. Could have got a used one for less then half the cost, but I decided to just get the new one and not take a chance that the used one would be better or worse than my current one.

Control Rod with metal cap ends instead of plastic 4089076 $49.80
Tension spring on throttle lever shaft 3918455 $14.62
Bushing that the spring sits on 3918354 $23.48
Throttle lever 3918456. $230.71
And the nyliner bushing from cummins 3914353 $5.59 look just like what Geno's has, would have got them but had already ordered the others.
