No painting this week, the kiln got its' final coat right before the big freeze. And apparently it works. Yesterday the high was 11 and with limited sun it got to 96 degrees in there.

In Tennessee a trooper was killed this morning after he slid his cruiser off the road and flipped it, then the fire truck responding to the troopers accident also slid on the same patch of ice, went off the road and flipped upside down on top of the cruiser. The trooper died of a heart attack but they can't say whether or not it was before or after the truck flipped onto him. Either way, not a nice way to die.

This sure ain't gonna hold no grinding wheel on.

Well, at least you didn't accuse me of being from Quebec!!!

I can't actually complain about our weather the last few days. We have been having daytime highs above freezing and the winds have been positively calm. Not sure what tomorrow's plans are but if the weather holds like the last few days, it might be time to get outside, burn some garbage and maybe go for a ride on the quad.

You play safe JWBM and the rest of the DTRonians.

Once it gets spinning fast enough Centrifugal force will hold that wheel on. Use one stick of big red chewing gum as a safety and dont turn it off.

Oh well, can't fight city hall - - these guys have it made while we all suffer. Coffee, ph00 and cinnamon green tea for Claude are all on the counter and waiting. Have a great day.

I´ll throw in a bag of donuts to go with that coffee Bob.

Good to hear that kiln is working chaikwa, now get some wood in there.
Weather is about to change here, time for rain, gray sky and mud....I hate that.

Schnaps Bark, schnaps I tell ya, dump a little in your coffee and sit down and relax, it works for me.

I got on DeWalt's web site this morning and looked around. I don't think they looked at the diagram, just the parts list. This thing is for the grinder, but goes on the shaft coming out of the motor.

If they want to charge another $11 to send it out I am going to tell them I'll throw it on the fire and buy a Craftsman first, if that's the best their customer service people can do, at listening to a description of the part needed, and finding it on the diagram!!!!

They also did not send me a receipt. DUH!!
