Question Would this look good or no? Opinion Please

OK I am putting on H2 Chrome Wheels on my truck and am using the Hummer center caps. I noticed today that the Hummers have gas caps that look just like the center caps and was thinkin if this would look good w/ the wheels on my truck or would it be goin overboard w/ the hummer junk. And also I have a sport model and have removed the badges and dont know if it will upset the "clean" smooth look I have down the side of my truck.
What do you think?
TIA

The H2 caps won't fit on the back, the hub sticks out to far.

You might try trimming some of the third gen caps to fit, the brushed ones match really well.

I wouldn't do it, I don't understand why the hummer take offs are so popular.

They are pretty decent looking rims, and can be had CHEAP, usually under $500. It's about a $1000 set of tires without the rims.

They look better on these trucks than they do on H2s if you ask me.

They do look good, but only if you use the DODGE caps. They can be trimmed to fit rather easily. As for the fuel door, just get a billet aluminum one made for your truck.

There is a pic with the H2 centercaps, but it looks like he cut a hole for the hubs to stick out, and then painted the hubs silver to blend in.

The backs won't fit. I just cut a hole the exact size of the hub and painted it silver to match my rims. You can't even tell and it looks great. I get lots of compliments.

Be careful adding GM parts to your fine Cummins powered Dodges. Doing this(adding GM parts) may result in unwanted coolant leaks, excessive oil consumption from your engine and multiple check engine lights. Sorry, I used GM's Dexcool(antifreeze) on my fuel pressure gauge and a friend at work said I should not have done that. "Why" I asked. He said," Cause now your gauge is gonna leak, dexcool finds a way!". We are not big GM fans where I work....funny though....it's a GM dealer!!! Oh yeah, my fuel pressure set up did leak!!

Ya got that right.

I don't like them at all, but the wheels don't look bad, and the tires are pretty nice. Also it seems that a lot of the guys running them are upgrading from the stock steel wheels, they need/want something wider, with near stock backspacing.

Lightbulb New Idea

Well I didnt like the idea of having to cut a hole in the back center cap, so Ive been studying my options. I really like the look of the chrome 3rd gen caps on there, but today I was foolin around outside and got an idea. I took one of the front centercaps off of my dads 06 Dually and see what it would look like. Well I really like it, so I see if it will fit on the back of my truck and it does, if it will fit w/ the stock wheels does that mean it will fit w/ the H2s?
Also, has anybody ever done this? I might actually be the first to do something on these trucks instead of lookin on DTR and copying everybody (H2 Rims)

I think to fit them on the back you have to trim them to be a little thinner... But you could always try and see what happens.
