Which is Better.. Since i have heard some mixed reviews about this. I would like to start a poll.

Tapping a wire with a soldered connection?
Or
Using a Stealth Wire Tap cover?

 

I think the cover would be better. The main reason is that the connection is sealed inside the pump, and is not subject to corrosion or the elements. Even though soldering the wire may provide a jim dandy connection it breaches the insulation on the IP wire and opens it up for corrosion to set in.

 

that is when you cover the wire with liquid electrical tape and not have to worry about corrosion ever again.

 

I did not know about the liquid tape. Is it like a rubber paint that you daub on the wire?

Pump cover. When I tapped my 02 I didn't know about the cover and I just used one of those blue splice connectors (I'm brain farting on what there called).
