I'm about to tap my injection pump wire and not 100% sure which wire to tap. The comp instructions say to tap "the inner wire closest to the engine block, this is the upper wire." But looking closely at the injection pump, the wire closest to the engine block is the lower wire. Which one do I tap and what can happen if I tap the wrong wire?

 

Come on guys, I know atleast some of yall have tapped the wire on the vp44. I'm pretty sure it is the top one, but I just wanna make sure. Any help appreciated.

Once you remove the jacket from the two wires its the higher wire and this one also runs closer to the head. I was in the same situation and the instructions were very unclear from Edge. Your gonna love the differance

 

OK, I tapped the right wire and WHOOOOOAAAAA, the truck runs now. Just wish I could run the comp on 5x5 w/ out slipping the stock clutch. As soon as the Mach 1.5's get here, I think its time for the Con OFE to get ordered.
