wire in the exhaust.

Anybody ever heard of putting a few pieces of piano or banjo wire in the exhaust and making it louder? Some guys at work was telling me about it but I have never heard of such a thing. Would it be auditable to the ear?

From what I'm told about it it lets out a frequency that's inaudible to the human ear and can shatter windows. I've never tried it though. Got a cousin who did on his old 318 dodge gasser and he said it worked.

Were there any words in that? I wonder what would happen to the sound pitch after the string gets covered in a thick layer of soot.

true... but... the whistle tip actually whistles, and it isn't advertised to break windows...

the piano wire doesn't do anything and it's said to break windows...

so, not the same thing really...

stupid? yup...

same?
