Will this help......

When I's driving 55-65 mph, my truck has a shake to it. It s not real severe, but if you look at a pop bottle in the holder, the pop is splashing around the bottle. It is definatly drivable, but also very annoying. I was wondering if new shocks would help solve the problem. I just got a new track bar, so i ruled this out of the question. Any input would be appreciated
Thanks

It doesn't sound like a shock change would solve your problem. Sounds like an alignment, tire balance, or tire wear issue. If you have worn shocks, that could cause an irregular tire wear, but once the damage is done to the tires it's done, changing the shocks will only prevent further damage to the tires. If the tires do have an irregular wear to them that is causing the vibration, the source is likely an alignment issue.

In a nutshell, check your tire balance and alignment before anything else.

One other thing, I see you have tall tires on your truck. Make sure you have enough air pressure in them, if the tires are too soft the tall sidewalls will not have enough support and could cause a condition you're describing.

If the shake only occurs at these speeds, then it is a harmonic issue. This would be tire underinflation, insufficient caster, bad alignment, etc.

If it occurs at all speeds, check the driveline-related items: warped rotor, warped/cracked wheel, u-joint, etc.

It could be something as simple as an out-of-balance wheel.

I recently went through the same thing except mine didn't come on til about 70 MPH I thought it was tire out of balance and got the checked and it ended up being my rear u-joint. The joint was totally shot, i was surprised since i only had 60,000 miles on the truck. just something you might want to check
