Will it fit?
Ok, I used the search button and spent hours and hours readin ALL the post on stacks. And none have answered my Q. So I know where to get them, and I know what I need to install them. But what I don't know is if it will fit. I will be runnin PDRs twins soon, so I will be runnin a 5" exhaust from the bottom turbo. Now is it possible to run 5" into a Y set up under the bed? I want a clean look, and my spare is mounted right in the middle where the in-bed piping would go. So count that out. Any help or ideas would be great.
Here is a pic of where the spare is:

No. There is not enough space to fit the 5" pipe under the bed to each corner of the bed. There's enough space to fit a 4" tightly wrapped with header wrap between the fuel tank and the bed floor, but there's not enough room for a 5" pipe.

Been there, done that. I'd recommend a stack box (Rob Thomas makes them if you don't have a metal shop handy) or a 5" Y above the bed. Then make a stainless or aluminum cover to mount the spare tire carrier. I built my 5" y-pipe out of 2 scrap elbows that my local truck shop had for cheap. Pics to get you started:

Hmm, I could move the spare. But I like it where it is, what if I ran the Y under the bed and stopped short before the tank? The stacks will be pretty close to the spare. Of course the stock in-bed mounted hooks would have to come out.
I am interested in doing a single 4" stack. No point in doing a 5" if my downpipe is 4" as far as I can see? Can anyone tell me what I need to do to mount it? How do you get it to not vibrate/rattle against the bed? I have a high flow muffler that I'll be mounting pretty much right to the downpipe and then doing a mandrel bent 90 degree and running straight up from there? Where can I get these chrome stack covers like in http://www.firepunk.com/gallery/Satellite/sat1 ......

My first system was like that. It was a 3" to 5" adapter, 5" flex, 90° elbow pointing up to the bed, 90° elbow just under the bed surface towards the passenger side of the bed, 90° elbow going up thru the bottom of the bed to the stack.
I got the two in the picture from www.airflo.com, but you should price them at www.iowa80.com and www.berubes.com as well. My buddy got some from iowa80.com and they were excellent.
*edit* I forgot to add that the last 2 elbows were clamped to the underside of the bed. The stack was secure enough that it only moved about 1/4" in any direction even at 110mph. (tested off-road of course

The 5" elbows bearly fit in the space below the bed and with them clamped to the bed, it didn't have too much space to move. Right now I have 2 clamps on the bed rail holding both stacks on. The only other support is the downpipe support. Unfortunately the galvanized flex pipe has turned into rock solid rusted pipe.
