Any one who has the $$ and the need (read cold weather) should buy one of these. I have one in my truck and it is fantastic. I use it all the time to warm up the truck and too keep it warm while I am in a store,etc. I also love the timer as I can have a warm truck anytime I want it. The timer works on a seven day cycle so you can set it to go on one week ahead of time if you wish. I do that when I leave it at the airport and know that I will be back in a few days.

The only thing to remember is that it uses your batterys to run the fan in the truck, so turn the fan to the low setting or it will drain the batts and your truck will be warm but will not start.

The beauty is that they hardly burn any fuel at all - something like 1 litre in 8 hours....

 

I think he quoted something like $1,100.00 dollars. Is that good?
