For duramax/powerstrokes? I mean, ive herd alot of stuff for those two, and I guess it just must be that the cummins is a I6, but dang, does it sound better. I guess I'm glad i really like dodge over the competition.

The fact that our trucks have an I-6 is what makes them sound like "big rigs". The Fords and Chevys with loud exhausts always sound a lot like a gas V-8 IMHO. Not bad, just different.

Yeah I think its the V8 vs the I6 that makes them sound different. Sometimes I'll watch a video on YouTube about some of those trucks that are really common in Europe, Scania is I think the brand, and they all have V8s and sound a lot like the powerstokes do.

Yeah, its scania, they make really good trucks. 620hp v-8s with like i think its around 2300ftlbs of tourqe. They have inline 5s and 6s as well. But, I just coulnd't drive a duramax if I can't get them to sound more like the cummins, I just don't like it.

I have a '99 with like their loudest engine and then with a straight pipe just driven around streets with fences that it reverberates off of is enough to make me smile . Plus everyone knows it's me when they here me in a parking lot.

Its just, that sounds like something someone would say that thinks you can get different diesels in rams.
