Who makes those step bars...

...they are small diameter, probably 2" and mount right up against the body, are normally wheel to wheel, and they have a step made out of probably 1 1/4" pipe and a piece of flat plate. There is a step for each passenger and sometimes a step to get in the bed.

Warn used to make bars like you describe but they were discontinued a few years ago

These are a fairly new product, I see them on a lot of Fords, some Dodges and Chevys.

That's the company. I bought all the pipe to make my own steps about a year ago and could not figure out how to mount them so I bought Westin's and bolted them on in an hour. Now that I see how easy the bars should bolt on, I am going to make full length bars.

N-FAB are the ones that I have on my 01 they fit fairly tight to the body and go all the way back to the rear wheel well. They have a step for each passenger and are good for ladies that don't like that big step up that you have with most nerf bars. I bought the black powder coated and they look nice against my silver truck. They are also made in chrome. see them at n-fab.com

I have the Smittybuilt ones and they seem to be pretty stout. I got T-boned by another truck and they saved me big time. They took all the carnage.........body was fine.
