Who else has worn out a Thuren TB

Noticed a mild death wobble a couple of times last week and wrote it off as mud in the rims/tires. Got to looking last night and the blue bushing on the pass side of the trackbar has 1/4-3/8" play in it. Only got about 70K miles on it. Has this happened to anybody else?

Parts do wear out. Call Don,he'll take care of you. Leave a message if he doesn't pickup. He will return your call.

I have not wore out one of his, but I have a third gen track bar from Solid Steel that is worn out and I will be getting a rebuild kit for. You're not alone.

I called him awhile back about a trackbar that had worn out. Turns out the earlier revisions had some deal where the inside sleeve became loose. He offers a repair kit to address the problem. In my case I swapped out the whole bar since Id ruined it pretty good.
Ill probably be posting it for sale when I upgrade to a bushing style with drop bracket in a couple months. Im buying another trackbar from him this time as well. Really good quality stuff and hes been real helpful on a bunch of occasions when I had questions or problems with a part.

I have a feeling mine is shot too.... How's the easiest way to check? I don't really want to get down on the cold snowy ground, but I think it's starting to go.....

Get down on the cold snowy ground and watch the end joints on the bar while somebody else is moving the steering wheel from side to side. You should see little to no movement.
