Where to put my money other than the bank.....

So It's time to baby the dodge with some new goodies. Im torn between a couple of items. My eyes are bleeding from the searching and reading so now i turn to the pros.....

I am seeing warmer egt's when towing 7k. I can drop the edge to levl 2 and problem solved but truck seems to drop off the power scope. I will be buying a larger trailer soon and want to maintain similar speeds(55-70) but I know I will be needing to get the egt's under controll with the heavier load.

So here is what I am thinking:
- Water meth kit
- New intake manifold(only seen 3 out there, AFE ATS and the CFM+)
- new turbo(must work with my exhaust brake(pac brake off turbo))

Now I know i should just pony up and get all 3 but which of the 3 would be best bang for the buck???

Gracias and Thanks. jiMMy

I think the water/meth would probably yeild the biggest gains, but it isn't available at all times (you can run out). Turbo would be a good upgrade for now and the future, but I don't know how many will be able to retain your stock turbo exhaust brake. Maybe one of the BD turbos will work. I have a SPS62, and when I was running 80hp sticks, smarty and the HRVP, I couldn't break 1300 degrees. I think it would be a great turbo for towing at around 400hp. But then again, I do absolutely no towins, so take that reccomendation with a grain of salt. The aftermarket airhorns, you could spend your money elsewhere.

I'm more of a SG man myself
And of those choices I'd get a turbo.

Don't waste your money on an intake horn. An upgraded exhaust housing might get your egt's down a bit as well. The best thing you could do is get smaller tires so you can turn a few more rpm on the hills. I just went down to 285's and love them. They don't look as mean, but they feel a lot faster, steer better when I parallel park, and feel more in contact with the road. MPG has picked up as well, less rolling resistence, I can actually run over 40 psi without severe center bulge.
