where to mount switches?????

where to mount switches?????

in my 1998.5 i have no where to mount switches. the 1996 shop truck we have has 3 spots under the cup holder. anybody have any suggestions? i have seen the thread on mounting to steering wheel but anything else?

any info greatly appreciated!

The overhead console has some good spots. You just have to run the wire down the A-pillar. Depending on how your radio is mounted there might be room there. What type of switches? What are they operating? These will help determine the type of access you need for them.

BD high idle and off road lights right now. i am getting a new CD player soon and the aftermarket ones are way smaller. never thought making a plate to accomodate the switches. thats a good idea i'll have to look into it.

IMO, Scotty's Dodge Pod is the way to go when mounting switches....easy to see and reach and gives a very professional looking install.

Here is a pic of my Dodge Pod installed on my 98.5 3500.
