Where to get a new head?
Recently discovered (developed) 2 HUGE cracks in my head and I am needing to replace mine. My question is does anyone know good supplier of heads and if so what kind of prices am I looking at? So far the best price Ive been able to find for a new head is 800$ incluling valves and rocker arm assy. although I dont really need the valves etc. I will be porting it myself as well as cutting the grooves for the fire rings so I will not need any of that done.

I'll have an extra 24v head after Feburary. But that doesn't help, huh? 
You may want to see if DonM can get you a 12v head for cheaper than 800.
Did you determine the cause of the cracks?

Rebuild as a p-pump 24v.
. How about you just trade me for your freshly rebuilt motor
and I can slap my pump on it.BTW: have you had a chance to find out what else will have to be done to complete the conversion?
