Selling my comp to a guy with a 99 CTD. Need to find somewhere to get the MAP adapter, Also is the data link plug the same on a 99 as a 01."havent checked myself" He emailed edge & they said there was no such adapter but I could've swore one came with my comp when I got it. Also we were wondering if we put the 01 MAP sensor in his truck & just spliced the right plugs into the harness would would work?

 

01-02 use different voltages for the MAP so while you can adapt it to make it appear to work, it wont work as well.

Some have reported success - when I mistakenly purchased a 1999 version of a Comp, I put it up in the classifieds here and was offered a trade. Worked perfectly.
