Wheels.......

What is the largest wheel that will fit on a 2wd dually? I'm not asking for the bling bling factor, just for the best working and hauling combo..

19.5's are the biggest I've heard of, without going to adapters for big rigs (22.5 and 24.5"). 225/70/19.5 is close to the same OD as a 235/85/16 (0.2" diff). Rickson Wheel has some steel and aluminum 19.5's in the 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern.

And if you want a working/hauling combo 19.5" are the way to go. Plus they look sweet.

Who makes the wheels that are on the F-550? We just got one and it has 19.5's that look good.

I haven't seen any Alcoas in 19.5's for the 8x6.5" bolt pattern, not saying they aren't out there though. They are nice wheels though, look so much better than the steelies with the covers.

I'm a real big fan of the 22.5" with the lug adapters for 10 lugs.

Believe me, if I had a third gen and didn't mind the added wear, the 22.5's would be my purchase but on the 2nd gen there will be some moding to make them work. So the Ford wheels are Alcoa?
