Wheel and Tire pic request..
They water spot horribly, oxidation is an issue, the center caps rusted right off the bat, 6 months after I got them I had to wet sand them down and repolish them because the brake dust embedded itself into the aluminum and when I called mickey thompson about them they basically told me to stick it where the sun don't shine and learn to live with it. The day I got these rims I put a heavy coat of wax on them and they get waxed a couple times a year. And yes, I have put a sealer on them cause they are bare aluminum and it still doesn't work. I love the way they look but I am not impressed. Now, FWIW, my buddy has a set and takes worse care of his than mine and all he does is hose them off and they look brand new. No spots, not oxidation, no rusted center caps, no impregnated brake dust, nothing. Just a nice, shiny, polished aluminum rim.
Mickey Thompson wheels are HORRIBLE about that.....and so are the Xtreme Alloys by Pro Comp. They spot like no other and the second that stinkin mag chloride they use on the roads here in the winter hits them, they get pitted and basically ruins the rim.
