wheel compatability 95' - 08'
wheel compatability 95' - 08'
My 95 wheels are old and crusty. I found a set of factory 2008 8 lug on craigslist, $250, they look sweet. Does anyone know whether they'll fit on my 95 8 lug? I know there are variances of offset and hub diameter, etc...
we put a set of 08 aluminum stockers on a 96 2wd and they fit fine. worked great til the idiot in the minivan tagged the right rear wheel and sent the truck skidding over a steel storm drain! tore the frame at the lower a-arm mounts...
the only issue i know of is putting older wheels on newer trucks-- the newer (03+) trucks need 17" or bigger to clear the brakes.

The lug pattern on a Dodge and Chevy have not changed since 88. They are interchangeable from then tilt now. The only factor is brake size like "Beast2B" said. Ford changed to metric in 99, but from 88-98 they will fit on a Dodge or a Chevy or vice versa. By the way that is a great deal, I want a set for my truck but have not seen a set for less than $500.
