What Turbo would you get???

I want to get in on this deal before its gone... http://www.performancedieselwarehous...urbo_Sale.html

But I dont know what Turbo would be best. My goal is for a nice set of Twins down the road using an S400 or 480. So I need a top turbo for now that will give me a nice boost for the time being. Any ideas on turbo and Exhaust housing options?

Is the 66/14 too big as a top turbo? Can I get a better turbo for less than $1100???

Thanks,
Josh

I think the 66 is gonna be way to big for you now, as well as a top turbo in a twins set. I'd go with a phat shaft 62. It'll be perfect as a top turbo for twins, and it should come pretty close to keeping your egts down as a single right now. It might get a little toasty in the top end, but it'll be far better than your stocker right now. the super phat shaft 62 would probably be perfect for you now and would probably work good as a top turbo, but its a little pricier.
I wish I had the money right now to take advantage of that sale. My turbo's on its way out and it really gripes me to have to pass on that.

So the 62/14? I think I need the 14ch housing right now for a single but Will a 14cm exhaust housing be costly when I step up to twins? i plan on getting better injectors as well.

Ditto, you could use a 62/71/14, it would be a great turbo for twins.

What's your reason for saying that? I bet you have more fun under 2000 rpms with the twins.

im also looking to do twins by the end of the year. I just need something i can use in the twins setup, something thats easy to install and spools quick. I am a Daily driver and race occasionally about 1-2xtime a month and i tow about 2-3 times a month.
