what sticks best for a hx40

ok guys heres what im looking at one of the new holset super 40s with my van aakens box and a set of ether mach 3s or 4s . i want in the range of like 430 to 450 hp and trying to keep the egts in check. i really dont want to tap the pump wire just yet maybe later down the road i will do that but right now i want to stay away from tapping the wire.

4's. Less smoke than 3's. More power. Less EGT than a 3 as well. Im considering dropping the 3's since the 4's are soo clean and cool now.

Just how cool do the new 4's run? If you don't tow would you be able to get by with the factory hx35 until this poor college kid saves up for the turbo. I would only play around with the new power occasionally.............I promise

Dcomp, 3's & PDRHX40 did 462hp on my old 01. Go with the new 4's I should have.

ok so how do the 4.5s do compared to the normal 4s. since you say that i should go with 4s.

Don,
do think that the 4.5 would be about as big as i should go with a auto truck with a 40 and a van aakens box . Yes the tranny will be done when i do go this far i am doing a dtt tranny on this truck . i mostly street drive and sometimes drag racing a little . very rare that i will be pulling anything heavier than a car.
