What Injectors are better

I have an 01 dodge with a 5 speed. I just put on a quadzilla adrenaline, air dog 150 and 4 inch downpipe to 7 inch stacks. I have a custom air intake and the stock turbo. I'm looking at a set of 75 hp injectors with 3k on them for $300, or a set of 155 hp injectors with about 20k on them for $325. i'm not running a drag or pulling truck just like to play every once in a while and don't want to get crap mileage. can anyone help, thanks

The 155's are a great deal if they are a name brand. What brand are they?

If they are 155hp, my guess would be either BD or Bullydog. They're the only ones I've seen that make a injector at that hp level. Most companies like F1 or DDP usually have a 150. They will make descent power, especially for the money, but you'd probably do better with some Mach 4's. The BD and Bullydog injectors seem to run a little hotter and smoke more. the Mach 4's would run cleaner, cooler and probably make a little more power. Either way, your stock turbo isn't gonna be enough to support all that fuel. I'd go with some 275's for now. They can be found for pretty cheap, especially used and will give you good mileage.

im not sure what the brand name of the injectors are, he said that they were like the jammer 5 but were not necessarily that brand. i guess i will just go with the 75hp sticks for $300, seems like a better deal and they don't have that many miles on them. also i'm thinking they would do better with my stock turbo and fuel milage over the 155's what do ya'll think

Yes, but once you have the 75hp sticks in... you WILL want more. And you can manage the smoke until you get a turbo for the 155's. Also, you'll be hard pressed to find 150+hp injectors again at that price... and it will be just as hard to sell those 75hp injectors.

haha i know what you mean JIT but honestly after i get the injectors i'm only planning on an intercooler and a small turbo upgrade....i know that's how it normally starts but i'm just trying to do a little to help with the mileage and performance. in a couple of years i'm yanking the motor and completely rebuilding it all together. so i'm just doing a little here and there. and the only reason i'm shying away from the 155's is i know its going to be a while before my turbo upgrade.

You know you can buy a brand new set of RV 275s for $239 free shipping no core charge which is i believe 40-55 hp over stock. Many DTR members have favorable experience with the RVs. I would be cautious about buying any used injector from somebody you don't know and trust.
Jammer nozzles aren't very expensive new anyways. Have you looked into the price of new ones???

JC the 275s will make a nice little gain in power but you will see better milage from them then the other stixs your looking at. If your gonna do your engine down the road id lean towards them. Or i would pick up jammer tips new for the price of the used ones your getting. You can see some milage from the jammes but your right foot will decide that, because its hard to do with new found power.
Joe Diesel The schieds are a great injector. I bought a used set of 200+ hp ones and they were awesome. Much better smoke and heat control over jammer 5s i had in one truck. I have a set of mach 5s older ones and they seem a little bit weaker than the schieds. I bought a bigger set of schieds for the 99 and put the 200s in the 01, the new schieds are biggins in the 99 250+. They arent very friendly for the street, but boy they make the 8000lb brick move.

Like dieselrob said. The RVs will help both the hp and mpg's a little. If you decide to upgrade the turbo down the road you can easily sell the RVs for $100-150 and buy a bigger set of sticks if you think their too small. But for now they may be in your best interest. But i'm no expert.

thanks guys for all your help, i'm not planning on a turbo or intercooler upgrade for a year or so and the power that i'm getting from the adrenaline is nice, i just wanted to match a set of injectors with it to help out with the fuel flow. and when i do go to another turbo, its not going to be a huge set up, like i said i don't drag race or sled pull, just for playing around on the interstate when someone wants to think that a big 01 dually can't run

You won't gain anything from an intercooler swap unless yours is leaking. Save that money for a charger upgrade.
