I need some expert advise on what gauges to purchase for my 2002 truck. I am hauling 30 Ft travel trailer and want to monitor temps etc. Can anyone recommend web site for best deal on triple pod gauges. I am thinking of pyro, egt, and tranny temp. Am In the right neighborhood? Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing its an Auto? if so you got the gauges right. 50-psi boost, 1500 egt. not sure on the tranny temp. Fuel Pressure wouldn't be a bad one to have either since its a VP truck.

If you are staying stock I would say EGT (same a a pyro) FP and Tranny Temp.
It looks like you are wanting to mod, so I would also toss a Boost gauge as well. No one makes a 4 pillar pod for Dodges, so I would put the FP on the column.

Fuel Pressure and a pyro are ABSOLUTE necessities. That being said, you should alos have a boost guage and a tranny temp guage if you have an auto.
Put the pyro, boost and tranny temp on the a-pillar and the fuel pressur in a cup down on the dash by the go pedal.

I have Isspro's, the look nearly stock, great lighting and they have worked great for almost five years.
You've got a VP44, so a fuel pressure gauge is a must. A boost, tranny and pyro are also needed. I have mine on the A pillar, it's an Autometer gauge mount. You can mount your forth gauge in the cubby hole, you can pm me for the info on a mounting plate for the cubby hole.

I second the ISSPROs I have had them in 3 trucks now and never had a problem with any of them. Ordered all 3 sets from www.dieselmanor.com , always great customer service.
I also agree that you should add a Fuel Pressure gauge to your list, it may save you from buying an injection pump down the road.

Reading here it seems that the gauges can vary in $$, is there a big quality difference? I am a believer in "you get what you pay for", just looking for advice from those who have previous experience on the board before I make my purchase.

The above will allow you to read the temp of the fluid going from the transmission out to the cooler.
Then, pick a gauge you like the look of and a pod to mount it in, and you're in business. Just google "transmission temp gauge", you'll get plenty to choose from.

Close up of gauge face, note that it starts at 100* and goes to 280*, some start at 140* and go to 320*. Mine usually rides at 140* or so, so a gauge that started at 140* would be less useful to me.

U dont really need that for the tranny temp guage...
