Pump adjustment is on the end of the pump...uses a hex wrench. Turn it clockwise to increase pressure...up to 220 psi on stage 2. Go easy till you hit the stop for max pressure.

I only saw 3-4 psi boost gain, even with racing meth, when I first installed mine...on a big single turbo. Noticable 'push' when it comes on... but not a neck snapper!

Both nozzles work from the get-go! The pump just 'ramps up' to full pressure at the max setting.

Mine is plumbed into the Washer Fluid bottle ... gives you one gallon, AND a low level warning light

The purple colored TroubleFree brand windshield washer fluid found at Advance Auto Parts is 45% methanol and on sale for $1.68 a gallon if you're in a pinch.

I can definitely feel a BIG improvement in performance though it doesn't bang as I run with the variable controller. A big jump in spool-up from the starting point to limit. Much improved acceleration.

Had anyone ever heard of runing rubbing alchohol instead of methyl? I have a buddy, believe it or not, you will crack up. He took the hose that supplies the windshield washer fluid nozzle and cut a hole in the intake tube, and just stuck it in there. He hits the wipers and it shoots a direct stream into the pipe (rubbing alcohol) and he says he can feel a good amount of power when he hits it! I rolled!!! It looks exactly as you are picturing, just a rubber hose sticking in a slit right before the turbo... But back to my main question - rubbing alcohol?

It is recessed. I assume it's the same pump on your 'Hobbs' Stage 2 as on my variable controller Stage two.... but maybe not? I would call Snow's.

I dont think the fast spooling turbo's will find that much of a difference in the setup water/meth but ther bigger turbo guys like me that have a noticable lag off the line feel a huge difference.

When I first installed my W/M system with a single nozzle and used an 80%/20% mix I couldn't tell when it was working at all. Since I couldn't feel it I installed a couple of LED's to tell me when it was on and off.

Since then I've added a 2nd (very large) nozzle and increased the pump pressure to max. Now I get a good 8-10psi jump in boost when it hits and there is no doubt it's on and working. The engine and turbo get MUCH louder and I can feel the truck accelerating faster than usual. I've also switched to a 55%/45% mix and that seems to give a lot more power than 25% or less of meth.

Here's a recent post from the 1st gen forum with some video clips of my boost gauge with and without W/M: Link

Spraying meth water into the inlet of the turbo will erode the inpeller you will be buying a new turbo sooner then later.

Get the TroubleFree brand of windshield washer fluid (purple in color) at your local Advance Auto Parts store. It's 45% methanol.

Works very well.
