Raptor Result's
Shaft Seal Did not leak, So Now, After Modifying the brush holder to take a bigger “The only one I could get locally” Brush springs, They work good, and Running the raptor for 48 hours in my garage, looping fuel. Then I let it sit for 24 hours with the fuel tank above the pump to see if the seal between the motor and the pump housing was going to leak, Took it apart again, All Looked good, I made a bracket this morning to be able to use the holes already in the frame of the truck, I had the steel at home, A little cuttin welding, Drilling, it works good, took it for a test drive she’s got 18Psi @ WOT, Idles @ 22Psi I have my old dependable HOLLEY in a bag and under the seat,, ha-ha.
I Bought it used from a guy who bought it new and said it did not have much pressure, He claims he ran it for a week, $15.00 I Paid for it.
So, After all expense’s I’m into the Raptor for under $40.00 Total,
I just hope she last a while..
OK Hopefully the saga is over,
Thanks for ALL the Help.
Now to Continue watching the Daytona 500, Or I should say the Rain delay.

I've run a walbro 395 for the last six years with no issues. I run a efi fuel regulator at 28 psi. Currently I just dump the regulator fuel return directly into my tank/ I noticed that on the hard wot pulls my fuel pressure starts to dropping off the 28psi to 18psi. I'm going try to tee my suction line and run the fuel reg bypass into the suction, just to see if the walbro can support more power. Currently my system is good for around the 550rwhp area.

I have been running a Walbro GSL392 bolted to the frame halfway between the fuel tank and the motor with standard piping for over 100K (150K total on the clock) and I'm still on my original VP44. I see 8-9 psi at full throttle (through the Adrenaline monitor) pulling the White Bird grade south of Grangeville, ID with a fully loaded 33' Airstream attached to the bumper. During normal, flat land use I see 14-18 psi. However, to be safe I keep a spare lift pump with me at all times. Cheap insurance. I realize I'm on borrowed time with the VP but I'm a firm believer that it's lasted as long as it has because I have always had good fuel pressure going into it.

My Walbro Results and Walbro FRC Pump Info
The raptor is still surprisingly working well, for $15.00, 3000 miles on her so far, Rock solid Steady pressure.Today I received my walbro GSL392 and the results back from walbro that I sent back for testing and Maybe warranty, Except when used in diesel it voids all warranty,But they were nice enough to test it for me, I also requested more info on their Diesel Lift pumps, Which is why I started this post in the first place. The pump I was looking at was the FRC-10, Attached are my pump results and the info on the FRC-10. they also gave me a new set of 3/8ths connectors for the GSL392. awesome, The FRC-10 is around $140.00.
