Walbro 392 Kit

I was looking at the walbro 392 kit and i was wondering if it came with the regulator? If not where do you get one? Also if I buy the kit do you need the big line kit? Thanx,

Paul

Mine sits at a rock steady 18 psi at this point. I have heard from 17 to 20 psi on the 392 kit.

Also, no pressure drops noticed, which is truly a bonus. Best bang for the buck that I have been able to find.

Line size

Is this with the lines that come with it or the big line kit?

deffinetly a great buy. i got mine on my truck for several months now.

yes it comes with literally EVERYTHING to install it, no joke.

no, you do NOT need the big line kit(i don't have it) but i plan on putting it on later on down the road.

if you order it, i recommend order by phone! i think the guy's name is rich, (not for sure so don't quote me on that) but you will see that he is such a great guy, he told me that if i have any questions i could call him at midnight it doesn't matter. great man. i did have a little problem with getting the wrong wiring harness and it also had a bad relay, but he took care of me, and it wasn't his fault either. the relay was the company who makes the relay's fault, and the wiring harness was just too long, it was for the 03-05 not my 02, but he sent me all new stuff next day delievery free of charge!

mine sits at a rock solid 17 psi, and i can't drop it below 15 psi at WOT. also he can ship you shims for the regulator that will increase the psi, he'll talk about them if you order by phone.

so in my opinion...buy it and don't look back...great instructions too.

I have one too Not from GP, but got it it from wideopendiesel.com I'm having good luck with it. So I like the walbro conversion, and widediesel helped me out in that I had the intank pump as well.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the AFS kit, correct? I'm running that system too ... nothing but good things to say about it!

I too am looking at the walbro kit but I have the intank pump now, So if I buy the walbro kit will i also have to buy the draw straw? Will I have to remove the intank pump and only use the Walbro, or do you use both pumps?

Just tell Rich you want the big lines he'll set you up with the correct fittings and everything you need. As far as "what does it regulate?", it's off the dish side of the pump before the filter so it keeps the psi in check buy returning excess through the regulator to a mainfold that dumps into the tank fill tube. Everything comes with the kit. I waited 5 long Carter POS LPs until I had enough and saw the Glacier product - didn't want the FASS - MPO

I'd ditch the in-tank and go w/the Vulcan straw. If the in-tank goes and binds up will you burn up the walbro in the process??? Why chance it - another $50 garuntees you'll never have a flow issue and get that POS in-tank where it belongs - in the trash. MHO

You can always put in a Draw Straw II. Cheaper than replacing module.
