Just a quick question. I know the VP44 is not like a P-pump in that it is electronically controlled..non oil lubed...yada yada...But, is there a any manual way to get a littlemore umph outta these pumps...Any quick little tricks like there are on the 12 valvers???? I know the answer is most likely no, but it's just a thught I've been pondering for a while and I know some of you guys are even better motorheads than I am.

Nope all electrical or big injectors, nothing else to do unless your a machinist and you turn yours into a monster vp. But i know you dont have the tools for that so nope soryy. Wed all wish there was tho. Im getting the hard start issue again when the truck is hot. If i lose this pump im goin p pump.

 

Yeah that's what I'd like to do as well but I just cring at the thought of having to take a chip off the ole block for the install.

 

Block stays intact, its the head you cut. Its not bad at all.

 

Whoops don't know why I said block One of those long days at work I guess. I know I'm not that goofy .
