Bang on Rick. If he's only looking for 1 mod, the HRVP is a good deal pray to god he doesn't get one with a harsh idle lope like I did.

i don't disagree with you one bit that there are high HP trucks out there with VP especially a SO pump...but 800+ on a monster vp #2 only says something to me...

So does high failure rates and a lack of customer service like what happened to Steve. I was interested in these pumps when they came out, but I've since written them off as a gimmick. The tolerances are too tight to get reliable results it seems.

well...now that i know that the person in question has a VERY bad rep on here...you won't have to worry about me say'n anything about him again on this site...

on that note...i've had bad customer service from these "super vendors"...i don't blame the parent company for what there vendors do, since they aren't there babysitting them all day long but blieve you me, i do call the "man" and let them know what has happend.

as far as a "monster pump" for example, each is to his own then...some people say a stock HX40 is a waste of $$$ and will break if you push it over 400hp...but then why is there a truck back home that has roughly 125k on it and dyno's in at around 490-515hp....

i believe nothing is as good as quality as it was once before...to much imported and "cheap" parts being made these days....

uh...NO i wasn't refer'n to you...i was refer'n to the person who got banned on here...since everyone, including youself, are so touchy about it i said i wouldn't bring up his products or his name again ...

and no i don't have the "monster turd"...don't need one...i only plan on making 500ish which i can make on my SO just fine and dandy...but there is a good friend of mine back in SC (dang sure ain't gonna say his name) that has a nice lil ol' 2500, that he sled pulls with the "turd" on it, and has worked just fine for him...

ummm.....i think you need to do your research on this one...NO you don't know my friend, Will from SC not NC, big difference, my guy in SC has a 6 speed truck not an auto like the NC (banned guy's truck) i have never claimed to be friends with that guy, just the guys back home that have gotten stuff from him haven't had any problems, and he's helped me out over the phone on a few things...sorry you had such a problem with the NC guy...don't blame me because you got screwed on a pump...and yes i would be highly p'd off if it happened to me.
