Is there different versions of the 3KGS?Why I ask, is my rebuilt pump was ordered with the 3K upgrade.When I compared them to the 3K I have this is what I found.The kit comes with two springs and seats that are heavyer than stock.You also remove the shims.In the rebuilt pump,the medium spring is the same,but the small spring is lighter than my kit that I have.Also there are shimes in the rebuilt pump.The adjustment for the height of the screw is 1.6MM and required 7 rotations before taking the springs out.The seats from my kit are also different than whats in the pump.What gives???Different setup on 3K upgrade......If I have time ,I will take some pics..

 

There are lots of versions of this mod, including using plain old washers. If a pump shop set it up, and it doesn't start defueling until after 3k rpm's what difference does it make as to how its achieved?

 

I haven't tryed yet on the highway at what RPM it defuels.Thats what I was asking is if there where different setups.This company also sells a non- 3K pump.Just need to confirm..
