Does anybody know anything about the older Vanaken box? I have one of these on my truck, It sure make's is go. Wonder what this does to the fuel and timing, boost fooler???? I know it is probably the first box they produced.

I can't remember much about the early VA boxes, except they made my truck scoot pretty good when I tested them. I can tell ya that you want to keep the early ones high and dry.

They are not waterproof on the end seals.

 

thanks, this one has an aluminum body, kinda has a shape of a car amp. It looks sealed good, don't mean it is. It has a purple color to it also.

 

The old ones don't have a boost fooler, so they will raise EGT a little bit. They do advance timing, but more mildly than an Edge box.

The also give you a LOT more fuel on the bottom end, which is helpful for yanking trailers.
