I am looking into purchasing a van aken box for my 02 cummins....What is the type R box? HOw does it compare to the edge ez. Just looking for a little boost but not enought to tear up the trans.

 

Just ordered my Type R

The V5 is nicer cause it just plugs in the map sensor and diagonistic port

The R plugs into the injection pump.

I got the R because I got a good deal on it. I'm getting some VOID stickers incase I have to take it off and bring it into the dealership.

I've heard some say EZ is better, some say VA is better.

VA is known to have a lot of low end and is good for towing.

I figure I'll give it a shot.

 

anybody run the R type box with another just fuel box, I got one comming too and just want to use it for the timing. GlenRMK, by chance did you get yours off e-bay, there is a guy on there that had 2 last week and another 2 this week?

 

i have it in my truck now for a couple months and love it.. awesome chip.. only paid $150cdn too which is nice.

Just curious I.got the van aken pump controller type r that plugs directly into the vp44 I'm getting an edge ez and am.wondering if they can work together almost like stacking in a way
