Van Aaken or Power Puck

Would running either one of these boxes with only an AFE stage 2 intake and everything else stock without a boost fouler cause the boost to go over 20psi and trigger codes?

Without a wastegate boost elbow installed, the wastegate should do it's job and vent things off and keep things at stock boost levels.

Add some larger injectors and it would be another story.

you might get a few spikes over the wastegate, but if you have the van aaken with the fooler you won't get the code

Why not use the boost elbow? Your max power gain and best EGT reduction is going to be above the stock 20# boost level, probably closer to 32-34#. If you don't want to go with a fixed boost elbow, get an adjustable unit to set it where you want it.

The Van Aaken I was looking at is the original Va box which does not have the boost fouler.

you can also buy the boost fooler for $50-60 that used with the boost elbow or just disabling the wastegate will get the boost up where it is useful

Where would I get a boost fouler for around $50. Also I decided on the power puck because I was told it has the boost fouler built in. Can anyone verify this for me? I sent an email to Diablo asking them but I haven't received anything back from them.
