I can get a Van Aaken box for my truck for a steal of a deal. Where do they compare to the Edge EZ? Are they better, same, or what? Just want to hear some opinions before I jump..

i have a van akken,its an older one without a boost fooler,plugs directly into injection pump.was a nice increase in tourque.also got it for a good deal.just got a comp and with the comp in ez mode she makes more power than the van aaken i have,yours may be diferent if it has the map sensor plug.they are probaly close to the same.i stacked my van akken with the comp on level 3 makes more power than comp alone on 5/5.if its a good deal grab her.thier a good bang for the buck

 

with my VA i had a very powerful low and mid range increase...lots of smoke with my DD3 injectors...my IP has gone bad tho and needs to be replaced so all the bombs are off the truck for now...but i am going to a comp and mad ecm when i get the new IP installed

 

I have had mine for a month now and love it!!! Can't say how it is compared to the edge but I love the jump I get when the boost hits about 12 pounds!! It was super easy to install and I would do it again in a second. BTW, I got mine from DPP for about 400

I have the Van Aaken V5. It works great for towing, good bottom
end power and increased throttle response.With RV275 injectors
combo tows real good and no EGT issues.

 

I got the V5 version , so I didn't have to plug into
the injection pump directly and remove the "warrenty void"
sticker thats over the pump plug. V5 version plugs into
the MAP plug and diagnostic port.
